1. We do not use or charge for a cleaning service, please leave the cottage cleaned and ready for the next guest.

2. Remove and dispose of all garbage.  There are dumpsters along the town docks in Little Current you may use .DO NOT put garbage in the black compost bin or leave in the shed. 

 SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED inside the cottage                                    

The cottage is a cedar sided, 1400 S.F. summer home, directly located on 150' of private beach on the North Channel (Lake Huron) shore line. The cottage has the following features:

• A 14'x 24' living room with vaulted 9' pine ceiling and 16' of glass windows facing a western lake exposure, finished off in pine wainscoting

• Fully carpeted throughout with electric heat and a wood burning stove

• Leather recliner sofa and chair

• Satellite & Big Screen Television , VCR/DVD

• All newer appliances except the dishwasher (you bring him/her...!) including a smooth top stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishes
•  NO telephone  or internet (But there is cell phone service to the area)
• All cookware and utensils
• Spare propane is located in the shed
• The is a water cooler.  Please ensure there is water left in it before you leave.  There is a refilling station at the side of the local arena in Little Current. 

• A 12 x 12 glass/screened sunroom with new solar shades

• Over-sized upholstered wicker furniture

Danger, the sun room can cause drowsiness and excessive relaxation

• Bedding is NOT supplied.  Towels must be washed and dried before you leave.

• Bathtub / shower

• Guests are to provide their own toilet paper however, please leave at least one roll of paper for next guest).   NO paper products to be put in toilet please). 

• Sink / Vanity

• Laundry room with washer and dryer (bring own detergent and softener)

• Outside clothes line

• Well behaved dos are welcome with prior approval BUT must be restrained / under control at all times when outside. 

• Pets must also be treated for fleas and cleaned up after.

• Pets must not be allowed on the furniture.

• Cats are NOT allowed (without prior approval by owner of cottage)

• Renters are responsible for any and all damage caused by their pets!

• A 10 x 20 gated cedar deck

• Wooden Deck Lounge Chairs

• Gas BBQ (spare propane in the shed)

• Patio table, chairs and umbrella

• The cottage has a 150' private beach

• The beach is stone and sand. There is no drop off and it is quite safe for small children

• Footwear (for tender feet) is recommended

• There is a 14' canoe available.  The aluminum boats, motor and fishing tackle, are NOT for guest use.

• Life Jackets (various sizes).

• Boat launching and dockage is available in Little Current, Rockville, and M'Chigeeng and other locations

• Check in is after 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays

• On arrival, check and report any damages as soon as possible to lockyer_t@hotmail.com  to avoid being held responsible.  You are responsible for replacing any items lost or damaged beyond normal wear and tear.

• Check Out is no later 11 a.m.

• Ensure you take all garbage with you.  Do Not place garbage in the black composter bin.

• Ensure the cottage is cleaned and ready for next guest.
